Profile – Bruce Paulson

I have been involved in the Scouting program since 1989 when my son was in third grade and decided he wanted to join Cub Scouts. Ten years later in 1999 he earned the rank of Eagle Scout. I started collecting OA flaps when I attended my first Section Conclave in 1997. (I was nominated for OA in 1996.) After that first Section Conclave I was hooked on collecting. I now collect OA flaps and CSPs. I am about 12 name needs away from a complete name set of CSPs. My OA collection has a much longer way to go.

I am currently registered with Northern Star Council in St. Paul, MN. (The new council formed by the consolidation of Indianhead and Viking Councils in July 2005.) I am part of the Identity Committee representing Agaming Lodge as we work towards establishing the name, totem and first pocket flap for the new Lodge formed by the joining of Agaming Lodge 257 and Tonkawampus Lodge 16. The new lodge name was approved at the LEC in December. Our new name is Totanhan Nakana Lodge 16. We are in the process of finalizing the design of the first lodge pocket flap with the goal that it will be unveiled at our Winter Banquet in March.

I have Agaming Lodge S16b and S30 flaps available for trade. I also have the Northern Star S1 CSP available for trade. Send me an email and let’s do some trading.
