A Quarter of a Million Dollars Worth of Junk

There is a catch All category in Boy Scouts called “other items”. In this category you can find everything from a morse code card to a $50 tin of chocolate popcorn. Even with the strange mix of items the category sold $234,389 in auctions alone over the last three months. The percentage of items sold was pretty low at 39.7% as compared to some of the other subcategories in Boy Scouts which sell over 50% consistently.


So what was bringing out that kind of money? Many of the items in the Top 5 were foreign items including several that were sold from Great Britain in British pounds.Here is a list of the items from the last three months that sold for over $1,000:
