1910 Boy Scout Handbook Original Edition Hardcover


Here is how the seller described the book:

Copyright page contains the “Birch-Bark Roll Copyrights which show last copyright of 1910 Combined with Scouting for Boys.Printed by The Quinn & Boden Co. Press Rahway, N.J. Brown/Orange Pictorial cover with black lettering. [4]+v-xii+[3]+2-190p,illus. 8vo. Good Condition. Missing last two pages Geology and Photography of Class III. Probably missing last fep. Inner gutter pulling as seen in photo. Ht pulled but present with 3/4″ edge tear. Page xi pulled but present.1″ tear top edge page 5. 1/2″ edge tear top page 10. 1″ tear top edge page 14.1/2″ tear bottom margin page 23.Page 63 beginning to pull.1/2” horiz tear top edge page 132.Page 161 beginning to pull at bottom.Interior vg with very clean pages, lite pencil early on two pages. Illustrations in vg condition. Early childs name in pencil on fep “Albert Eastman Hueneme Ventura Co. Calif.1″ tear on spine at tail.Head frayed.Corners frayed. 1 1/4” vertical stain on front edge. Some color staining on rear boards. Contents are the same as described for this copy on the BSA website. This copy does have one curious addition under Part II-Signs and Signalling where fourth subject is “Rememberable Myer” page 59 showing illustrations of twenty six letters. Not mentioned on BSA site.
