Dixie Fellowship 2007 Themes?

This year’s Dixie theme is Super Mario Brotherhood. Meh, I just made that name up, but regardless, our spirit theme is going to be Nintendo’s star, Mario. Our currently discussed patch is a play on the original Mario game cartridge, and our outfits will match those of some key characters. Everyone is asked to wear overalls and long-sleeved-shirts with colors to match the characters (red shirt and blue or white overalls is Mario, green shirt and blue or white overalls is Luigi, and there is also the option of wearing a pink dress to be the princess). If you have another outfit idea that matches this theme, by all means, throw some diversity into our midst! We do this to have fun, so be creative.

What are yall’s 2008 dixie patches like?
So what does Mario have to do with Scouting or Order of the Arrow. I thought CSPs and Flaps with Comic Characters were bad enough. Lets get back to Scouting and its real purpose. Or is this another April Fools Joke.
No Jim not an April fools joke… I am with you.. sick of seeing stuff like this happen.
How about a lodge making a flap and dangle because a member of their lodge got married???

I started collecting Boy Scout memorabilia when I was inducted into Santee Lodge 116, Order of the Arrow at Camp Coker in the summer of 1986. All the guys of ISWA chapter in Elk campsite seemed to be trading and since my dad sent me to camp with a small bag of patches, I jumped in and never looked back....

Santee Lodge 116 is issuing a delegate flap to compliment our spirit theme for the 2007 Dixie in Savannah, GA at Camp Blue Heron. There was a preorder taken at the winter banquet so look for these in April at the Dixie!
