Friday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter February 16, 2018

The last few days I’ve been going back and forth looking at a new warehouse space that would allow me to get all my inventory under one roof. So far I took my mom out there (she was visiting!) and today I’m taking my wife to see. As we all know that’s the most important decision maker in the family.

Right now I’ve got the main office in my basement (also known as the patch cave). That’s where the live inventory is and where all the work gets done. But I also have 3 storage units that I’m paying monthly rent on to house all the stuff that’s not up for sale. It’s kinda out of sight out of mind. So I want to get everything under one roof so I can be more efficient.

The last few days I’ve been going back to the strategy of using Facebook to quickly move inventory that I get in from new collections. Sometimes a collection just might be a single merit badge sash. This one I stripped has 30 merit badges that I’m looking to get $75 for with shipping included. If any of you are interested let me know. That works out to a little more than $2 each for these 1946+ era merit badges. There were a few from the generation before this on the same sash so I think an accurate date on these is late 1940s.
