Friday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter February 17, 2017

One of the things that Boy Scout collectors will enjoy during the interview is that Becky and I try to describe the differences between the two hobbies. She got her start hunting GSofA stuff at Boy Scout TORs and of course I have a foot in both worlds.

One of my favorite flaps is up for bids and linked in here. The Double Black from Santee 116 is an error issue came out in 1969. The seller started the bidding really low so this one will definitely be testing the market.

I posted a video yesterday unboxing a collection I picked up in October from PA that was a neat time capsule. This Scouter had attended all the Jamborees in the 1950s and had some really cool pieces from his time on staff at Camp Delmont. This weekend I’m going to launch all it up for bids on eBay so that people can get what they want and be fair to everyone that expressed interest.
