Friday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter January 12, 2018

Well among merit badge collectors it doesn’t get much tougher than that. A Nut Culture on wide crimped cloth. Man that’s one I will probably never have but watching it go on eBay is going to be fun. The vintage Ranger patch pictured next to it is another cool piece but not nearly as scarce.

After the Round Table I jumped in the car to drive to Easley, SC for Chris Jensen’s South Carolina TOR. At breakfast I overheard that Chris will have the flier for the Pre-NOAC TOR today. I know many of us have been anxiously awaiting this information and I’ll share it ASAP.

Yesterday I ordered 20 banker boxes from Amazon because I think they will fit the shelves in my storage warehouse perfectly. Right now I think I’ve got stuff in every different tote ever made by Sterilite or Rubbermaid. So since I need to go through all of them anyways I can get everything sorted and organized this spring. Going through these boxes will net hundreds of items for the silent auction at the Charlotte TOR. If you want to plunder my 10+ years accumulation of memorabilia that has never seen eBay make plans to come to the show.

You can always get free shipping when you buy items from my store at www.ScoutPatchHQ.com. Many of these items are also listed on eBay and I’m happy to sell them on either platform but since I can save on fees by cutting out the middle man that’s where the free shipping helps the buyer.
