Sunday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter February 12, 2017

One of my goals in getting organized and adding storage is to clear out some working space in the patch cave. My personal collection is stacked up in boxes and I really can’t get to it and enjoy it. I’ve had big plans for over a year to put my OA flap collection in large artist portfolios with labels. Now perhaps I can have a work space that is just for those sort of projects!

This issue of the Hot Finds is stuffed with great OA pieces ending in the next day or so. From lots of flaps to single issue live auctions there is a lot to keep you busy in here.

I finally did something smart that didn’t add to the piles. Yesterday I cracked open a small collection that I got in from Idaho this week. The patches never left my desk. I sorted and scanned them right in with 99% of them going into a new sales album. You can get patches for as low as $2 each in this collection album by commenting on which ones you want and sending me a message.

I was not trying to time it so that my best New York OA would all end during a blizzard weekend. However, with it cold outside I think I’ve had a few folks take notice of this large batch of OA auctions I have ending tonight on eBay.
