World Jamboree – Top of the Charts

A run down of the Top 20 items that sold on eBay last week in the Boy Scout category finds that 25% of them are World Jamboree memorabilia. In fact three of these made the Top-5. Its interesting that a couple of these only attracted one bid but with the high minimum bid that was enough to get in the charts. The exception to that trend was the 1920 medal which saw spirited bidding. Going into the last day it was sitting at about 1/3 of its end price. On the final day of the auction there were sixteen bids including three snipes in the final seconds. That explosion of bidding drove this listing into the #2 spot for the week.
