Friday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter March 17, 2017

Last night we had a Pack leaders meeting to firm up volunteer manpower for the Charlotte TOR. Would you believe I am still getting checks in the mail for table rentals even though we sold out a month ago. Chris Jensen told me on the phone yesterday this might be the first time that a start up TOR has sold 100+ tables. I could sell another dozen right now if I had room for them.

Yesterday I booked travel arrangements for my next patch adventure after the TOR in a few weeks. I’m going to fly out and rent a van to pick up another collection to sell on consignment. This one is a whopper and will be fun to dive into. I’m already dreaming up ways to market and sell the collection…stay tuned!

I had an interesting Facebook chat with one of the founders of ClothTalk. Some of you might remember the name Chris Brightwell from that podcast which was broadcasting about 10 years ago. He is desperately looking for any recordings of the show (the audio) so I thought I’d reach out to the readers here and see if anybody has any of those saved!?

I have about 200 JSPs from National and World Jamborees up on eBay right now. I’m pushing to get through another consignment collection while the interest in the Jamboree is warming up.
