******* 3 Unprecedented Opportunities ***********************************

1/ Lone Star TOR Chairman John Ryan, in conjunction with the National BSA Museum, will be offering Collections Merit Badge on Saturday May 3th, 2008 from 10-1230p at the National BSA Museum. The completion of this merit badge will occur on Friday night at the Lone Star Trade O Ree where first time attendee scouts and adults will bring their displays, obtain a valuation and get free patches at a Youth Auction. This alone could double our normal 100 person Friday night attendance at our event.
2/ Art Merit Badge. Again, in conjunction with the National BSA Museum, we will have the finale of a class on Friday evening which should draw approximately 40 scouts and their families!

3/ We are working on Several other initiatives that should maintain a higher attendance than in years past.

**** We Doubled Our Attendance Last YEAR and we’re working hard to do it again THIS YEAR! *******************

Try selling some of your scout items in our Scout Memorabilia Auctions! Your wives and girlfriends will know Grapevine is the home of Grapevine Mills Mall just 10 minutes away from our own patch extravaganza.

We are continuing our Collections ? Scout Memorabilia Merit Badge on Friday evening that has drawn 40+ scouts each year and every parent wondering what their old scout patches are worth. It always seems that the merit badge scouts want to buy the NEW stuff and the parents want to buy the old stuff!

Tables are $17 until 3/17/2008. We?ve sold out for 5 years in a row so confirm by sending us a check today! With the attendance initiative above, tables will go fast!

ON Saturday, we will continue to have door prizes, auctions and Lunch. Many have enjoyed our $5 All You Can Eat meal around lunchtime on Saturday.

We try our best to make this an enjoyable event for each boy, adult and visitor who comes through our doors! We continue to be appreciative for all the visitors we have each year and always see a few faces who wonder what all the fuss is about! For myself, each item of memorabilia tells a story about our shared heritage in America or across the world. So we urge you to bring what you can to trade, place a few things in our auctions or purchase something you just can’t live without at the 2008 Lone Star Trade O Ree!
