Another Great OA Flap Under the Radar

I’ve spotted another great OA flap that sailed right past me when I was writing the Hot Finds this week. This flap really intrigues me because it has the Area number on it. I don’t know if it was an early delegate issue or was like some of those California flaps that had the area # on the patch. Does anybody know?

I don’t speak with any authority but I thought it was just their regular flap but they listed the area. A clean and simple yet great design that is humorous, cartoony, and has some depth.

I’m Steve Cramer, age 67 and the LAST Chief of Tsutsusid Lodge 309. This is the real thing. Our totem was the Chipmunk and the name given me when I became Vigil; hence “Anicus” I helped in the merger of two Councils/ two Lodges; we retained 309 because it was the lowest number, but new Lodge name was Quonopin (Twins) Fitchburg and Leominster,MA. I was elected Area iF Chied and served on 50th Anniversary Committee. Would love an original Tsutsusid 309. Steve Cramer

Hello Steve – I’m Branden Morris; I grew up in Quanopin 309 and was adviser of Grand Monadnock 309, and also was a section chief in NE-1B. I’d be happy to get you a Tsutsusid flap, and maybe hear some of your stories? If you ever happen to check this, could you please email me at branden . morris @ gmail . com?
