The Best CSP RWS on eBay

There have been some pretty sweet issues selling over the last month on eBay. Take for example one of the all time classics the East Carolina T1. RWS are never to be left out however and a 1/2 strip sold by tspa recently did very well. You might be surprised to see a “modern rarity” included in this list but I had to be honest since it did sell for $300+. Any thoughts about that gang?

CSP East Carolina TA-1 Mint

Boy Scout RWS Elgin Area

Boy Scout Appalachian Council T1 First Issue CSP Rare!

Rare Du Page Area Council Lombard, ILL RWS Red & White

BSA Rare Trapper Trails CSP SA-62:1 2006 Camp New Fork

Both the East Carolina and Appalachian sold below their guidebook values ($836 vs $1500 and $416 vs $500 respectively). OTOH, the Trapper Trails went for far more than it should be worth, $383 vs $35, especially if 300 were made. Now I know this is the point where BigJim usually jumps in and says how crazy CSP collecting is and that’s why he got out, but . . .

The Du Page Area/Council/Lombard, ILL RWC is pretty cool, but it’s probably just a troop shoulder patch. Given how rabid the RWS collectors are and how old this strip is, I’m not surprised at the $430 price tag.
