A big OA odd shape collection has been on the auction blocks over the last few weeks and the 2nd round is closing this weekend. The beauty of this run is that not only are these great classic pieces but there are no high minimum bids or reserves. Let the bidders have fun!
I know that a lot of collectors (including me!) have paid top dollar for rare OA pieces to fill in their collection. So that’s whats exciting to watch these auctions because instead of protecting values realized from the peak 10 years ago this sellers is letting it role.
I’ve also got a new video posted in today’s issue of the newsletter. I put together this 9-minute video to show you the inside of my antique mall booth in North Carolina. I share a little of the back story and lots of pictures of items for sale there.
The Klahican R1 is a first issue that for years was a $1000 piece around these parts. It’s only up to about 1/2 that as of publishing today so let’s see where these end!
