Sunday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter April 1, 2018

If the merit badge sash below was not cut down squares it might set a record. There are so many great 1920s era badges on there it’s hard to describe them. If I tell you that it includes an Insect Life with the spider web design you will have to trust me it’s a rock star sash.

Of course a warehouse space has to include a roll up door. So yesterday I took an inventory of all the existing shelving in my storage units and garage so I can start laying out the floor plan for the new space. So far I’ve rearranged the pieces in my head a dozen times but until I get in there I won’t know for sure where everything will fit.

Thursday was the first day of Spring Break and we all drove out to an electronic recycling facility for a tour. For her Silver Award Girl Scout project Sophia is going to host a recycling drive at our church on May 12. She will take anything with a cord! Then this company breaks down everything and sends it into one of a 1/2 dozen recycling streams they have established. These bales in the background are plastic from old tv sets destined for California.

If you remember me mentioned in the collection that I picked up after National Camp School then you will want to look in on my auctions ending tonight. All the best items in that collection are ending tonight and many have multiple bids.
