Dale Blomberg wrote back that he would like to see a show that covers a database program for keeping inventory of your collection. Ironically about 5+ years ago I met a very smart guy at the Dallas TOR who had almost perfected a very good system. I don’t think he ever brought it to market. I suspect he was trying to get it perfect and that’s about impossible to do with something like that. Does anyone have a lead on a collection specific inventory system (other than MS Excel or Access).

Jerry Case wrote back that he’d like to hear a show that sounds alot like Rick Obermyer’s patch design class at NOAC. I don’t know if that content would translate as well to audio only but certainly Rick would be a great person to interview!

Bruce Richardson wrote back that he wanted to learn more about how to build a niche specific website to list council and activity patches. Luckily for me he referenced three examples that he was aware of and kinda graded their look and ease of use. This has always been something I’ve had an interest in as my first website essentially had this as an element to it in the late 1990s.

Finally Randy O’Rourke thinks a good topic would be collecting World Jamboree material. With the upcoming 2019 WSJ there should be a lot of interest in that area if only for a fleeting moment in time.

I appreciate all your ideas and I look forward to more! Please let me know if you can think of people I should interview or topics that I can cover.
