Sunday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter April 8, 2018

Several people unloaded entire collections to dealers looking to cash out. Larry Lane and Ben Mabee told me they found more needs at this show than any in recent memory. There was a group of guys holding a late night Friday meeting on insignia led by Ron Oslin til the wee hours. We now have 3 shows in North Carolina spread about 3-4 months apart and I hope with good promotion and support they can all thrive.

Now that the TOR is in the books I can quickly pivot to my next big project before taking a long summer break at camp. The uhaul is fully loaded from the TOR and Monday morning I get the keys for my new warehouse space. I hope by the time I push off for the Cardinal Conclave in 2 weeks that I’ll be fully moved in to the new office.

The only disappointment from the Charlotte TOR was that I didn’t find a buyer for the 400 coffee mugs that I spread out on the table. If anyone is looking to purchase coffee mugs I’ve got boxes and boxes that I don’t want to stack on a shelf in the warehouse never to be seen.

I am running a sale of 30% off in some categories of my eBay store. I figure I’ve got two months to push hard on sales before I tap the breaks for June/July. I’ll still be open during the summer as my employee will keep all the orders shipped out but I won’t be listing new material.
