Tuesday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter April 10, 2018
I got the keys to the office so to speak Monday and unloaded my uHaul from the TOR into the new warehouse. They still have some finishing touches before I formally move in but next week is going to be when I get everything under one roof.
Tonight my daughter is presenting her Silver Award project to a Girl Scout leaders meeting. She is pitching it to get people to turn out. The actual project is going to happen on May 12. She is organizing an e-waste recycling drive. Basically she will take anything with a cord and this company she is working with breaks it down to core parts to be recycled.
Later this month I’ll be attending back-to-back OA conclaves. The SR-7B Cardinal Conclave is being held at Camp Cherokee and the SR-5 Dixie Fellowship is being held in Ft. Mill, SC. The patch trading will be epic .
My eBay store is having a big sale this week of 30% off most items. The last time I ran a sale that big the results were pretty strong.

I started collecting Boy Scout memorabilia when I was inducted into Santee Lodge 116, Order of the Arrow at Camp Coker in the summer of 1986. All the guys of ISWA chapter in Elk campsite seemed to be trading and since my dad sent me to camp with a small bag of patches, I jumped in and never looked back....
