Friday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter May 4, 2018

The danger I am falling into a little bit is trying to make sure everything is 100% the way I want it in the new space. I still have a few more days of work to get the shelving just right. The goal right now is to get the mounds of stuff off the floor and then over time I can sort it into more of a library kinda system where everything has it’s own defined space.

I just ordered some small catalog racks off eBay so I think I’m going to try and use this system at TORs coming up. I’ve seen a few people like Phil Boatman use catalog racks at shows and they are effective at maximizing space on your table and giving folks an easy way to flip through your stuff.

I’ve tried just about everything for TOR set ups from comic book cards and boxes to crazy wooden shelving (epic failure in 2017). I’ve just never settled on a set up that I think works the best. It’s also because I take all this stuff to a TOR, sell 1% of what I took and then question what was the point.

I have some auctions running this weekend including a few more of the 10 cent variety. Many of the links below are to live auctions that I’ve got up.
