Friday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter June 16, 2017

Today I’m shipping out the patches that came in for the blind trade I organized for camp patches. I had nine collectors take part which is way down from what I got for OA activities but I know that camp patches might be viewed as just not quite worth it when you consider the trouble. I don’t have my next blind trade planned yet but it will have to wait until after Jamboree regardless.

I have had multiple send me emails and PM on Facebook asking if I know of a Jamboree TOR going on. The answer is no. As many of you recall Todd Kelly and Richard Mori gave it their best shot in 2013 and nobody that I’m aware of is taking the ball and trying to put one on. If anybody is then it’s kinda getting late to get spread the word at this point.

I’ve found a good use for the hundreds of lightly used album pages that are accumulating in my office. I posted in the 2017 Girl Scout Jamboree group that I’m bringing them to the Friday night social where patch trading is one of the official activities. Just wait til I get video of 1000 Girl Scouts trading patches! LOL It will be a sight to see.

Over on eBay the Patchblanket.com eBay store is open for business with now over 8600 items. There are no auctions running right now so everything is on auto-pilot while I get in all these June trips (Disney is next week).
