The Sunday issue is always packed with some of the best auctions ending soon. Check out these classics including some 1947 WJ patches that always bring a pretty penny.
The reports I read said that trading was very light at the OA Prism. This is probably about what I experienced some years ago at the 2011 Indian Summer event. There are always a couple guys that will lay down a towel or blanket but most of the Arrowmen there are your core lodge people and most have not caught the patch bug.
Chris Jensen posted on Patch-L that he is closing in on a milestone for his “O-Ree” collection. He is just shy of 600 different spellings of Scouting events that end with that name. When he does put a cork in the collection he is going to mount it share it with others. I love the idea of a fun collection that gives you something inexpensive to chase after. More people need to start collections you can feed from a TOR dollar bin.
In less than a week I’ll be moving my store operation from the old house to the new one in Charlotte. Once I get everything under one roof you can expect to get some progress reports as I post lots of new material to my stores at www.Patchblanket.com and www.ScoutPatchHQ.com.
