Tuesday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter June 02, 2020

I was messaging a friend yesterday about having some time this summer to get long delayed problems solved and he presented me with a solution for one of those. Since moving to Charlotte I haven’t locked down a bookkeeper. He has been using an online service based in Utah that seems to be take care of everything for him. I’ve got a call with them hopefully today to see what they can do for me.

One of the auctions in Sunday’s Hot Finds had just about the worst title I’ve seen. 40s 50s Boy Scout Patch Lot Www Rare Vintage Bsa Indian Lodge Camp 50’s 40’s . But regardless it sold for big money as there were lots of goodies in there. I posted a link to the Facebook Group and people were speculating what the jewels were in that lot.

Once again I have to thank some of the readers who helped me identify all of the military patches that I now have up for auction. There were several but I want to single out Michael Pankratz who commented on dozens of items! So if you have some military questions like I did that’s the go to guy in my book. He didn’t ask for any return favors or payment just showed that a Scout is helpful. Without his help and others (sorry can’t list all the names) I would have been struggling.

I have been using a service called Inkfrog to help me with listing auctions. It allows me to build and schedule them to start. I’m excited to say that by the end off today (June 2) I will have scheduled on average 25 auctions starting every night for the entire month of June on 3 different accounts. That includes Oapatch which currently has 238 auctions, Patchsniper has 90 auctions and $5dollarpatchstore has 191 auctions.

A typical Tuesday has settled in as one where I have the whole office to myself. That makes it a good day to start new listing projects, film an unboxing video or check things off the to-do list. I hope you have a productive Tuesday! Don’t listen to the news too much it’s depressing. I love the meme that has Doc from Back To The Future telling Marty “Whatever you don’t don’t go back to 2020”.
