With the World Jamboree coming to the Summit in 2019 you have to think we have got a pretty good line up to inject some energy into the hobby. I know some of you don’t care for new issues but we have a NJ followed by a NOAC followed by a WJ. That is a pretty strong line up!

Speaking of new issues I do have to wonder why anybody still collects Black Eagle lodge. When every new issue the comes out gets run up to $100 on eBay it wouldn’t take me long to get out of that game. But coming from a lodge that has historically restricted it’s issues being on the inside of that you tend to think that makes you special rather than stupid.

Seeing the cool N/C slide in this block reminded me that I don’t think I’ve ever shown the readers the way I’ve got slides displayed for sale in my antique mall booth. I used clip strips and have them mounted on to a board. There are some Neal slides here along with the ubiquitous grey metal slides we all have. So far I’ve sold a few this way but originally this method of displaying them was built for taking to TORs.

The good thing about having a large eBay store is that even when you are on vacation getting your picture taken with Mickey Mouse you can still be open for business. My eBay app will make a noise when I get a sale and that has already happened a few times on our trip.
