This was the segregated Scout camp for the Pee Dee Area Council headquartered in Florence, SC. The regular scout camp (Coker) was integrated about 1968 or 1969. This particular camp was located outside of Conway, SC.

It will be fun to watch this one roll – the seller indicates he has received multiple offers to sell it off eBay and has decided to let the auction run. 😮

Actually, most of the history in Baltimore suggests that the same camps were used but with segregated weeks. That was certainly the case with Camp Linstead in the early 1940s and Camp Howell in 1946–I’ve got the camp brochures with the schedules that identify the weeks.
