I think if you are going to do a lodge fundraiser using patches then this is probably the way to go. Santee 116 is trying to raise money for renovations to camp including replacing the 50+ year old swimming dock, storage for both sides of lake and other maintenance projects. To honor one of our most beloved members they made a special issue patch and 100% of the proceeds are going to the camp improvements. Maybe the smartest thing is they priced the donation patch at just $10 and so far they have sold a bunch of them. I told the Treasurer adviser I’d take some and see if I could sell them for the lodge. So if you want to get this Jimmy Duffy bear claw patch I have them for $10 and again the proceeds go to the lodge 100% to fix up Camp Coker.
Check out the great OA pieces that I spotted ending soon on eBay. I especially like the neckerchiefs which are kinda a lost art in our hobby.
Click to see Philmont pieces, World Jamboree and some other unique auctions. I just bought a collection that has a couple of trail medals in it.
I have more .99 cent auctions ending soon. Yes they are mostly a relist project on my district activity patches that I’m trying to move out.
