Friday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter August 12, 2016

This weekend I’m going to press the launch button on several hundred more Jamboree patch auctions. I think I’ll throw some up tonight and the rest on Sunday to spread things out a little. To make room in my store I want to move out some council patches so I’m running a 1/2 off sale. I’ve got over 1200 issues with many marked down below $3.

Now that I am back to being a full-time eBay seller a perk will be attending some TORs. The first one I’ve got tables for is coming up next weekend at Camp Durant hosted by Occoneechee Lodge 104. The tables are sold out so it should be a good one! I need to work on my calendar and see what else is within reasonable driving distance.

The Summit published a video to YouTube yesterday by the Wheels Department. This short video featured the Girl Scouts that camped at the Summit in June including my troop. You can see your Hot Finds editor in the video along with my daughter (tiger t-shirt). Sophia also made a 1 second cameo in their end of year remix video. Good memories and we will be back next summer!

This week on Facebook I’ve been posting some really odd stuff including ceramic tiles, ashtrays, and a 50+ year old BSA duffel bag. As I continue to go through boxes I’ve been snapping pictures and trying to move stuff out the door. The strangest thing I sold was a BSA chocolate mold. 🙂 You can find thousands of items in my sales albums at www.ScoutPatchHQ.com.
