Friday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter August 18, 2017

For some reason I’ve had my best month ever so far this month in my antique mall booth. I don’t know if its people driving through on vacation or maybe just a little Jamboree buzz. Either way it’s got me encouraged to head out there this morning and look for any spare room that I can add some more. They let me hang things from the rafters so that might be part of my plan today.

The Jamboree sales keep rolling on. This bucket represented orders over a three day period. Wednesday I got caught up with a marathon shipping day. My auctions continue to auto-list but I’m running out of the good stuff. I did find some Monty Python set hat pins last night hiding in a corner. Those sold surprisingly well so I’ll turn the auction back on for one more go tonight.

My old friend Collin Crick asked me to start pulling any vintage non-scouting patches for him and this nice group was in the collection. The Linus quote is pretty darn funny “To know me is to love me”. Collin has a VW Bus and goes camping with that crowd so these patches should be a hit.

In the short time that ScoutPatchHQ.com has been live I have received about 75 orders from collectors. I’m thinking that for that 100th order I need to do something special sorta like they do for milestones. Yeah it’s not the millionth of anything but you have to start small in my case!
