As I publish this issue from my table at the NOAC TOR there are contingents here from CA, MS and other states so that is very promising. I’ve been able to meet a bunch of my online friends and that has been the best treat. It feels like a family reunion. We even have some of the kookie uncles here if you know what I mean. 🙂 A friend of mine is looking for someone who needs a hotel room tonight that he has bought and paid for. If that is you let me know and I’ll put you in touch with him.
The TOR room is massive! It’s a little mind boggling when you walk in. Later today I’ll post some pictures on Facebook and I know others have been doing that as well. Today Chris Jensen has started up his silent auctions which are always a treat.
If you are arriving on campus early be sure to come visit us at the Lansing Center. You can find all the details on Jensen’s website www.streamwood.net. This show will be rocking and rolling til the late hours Monday night so look for the party bus shuttle when you get on campus.
We have everything lined for the Scout Patch Collectors pizza party. Chris has been very helpful making sure the convention center is happy with us bringing in outside food. The plan is to serve the pizza around 5 PM tonight! I hope to see you there.
The best thing about the NOAC TOR is the fellowship. I’ve been able to meet so many people including one who traveled from the Philippines. Several folks came up yesterday to introduce themselves that were eBay customers or friends on Facebook.
