Sunday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter August 27, 2017

My daughter Sophia was my sidekick for this show and she definitely pulled her weight. She helped me load and unload, watched the tables while I endlessly chatted with folks and even sold some patches. She still doesn’t understand this hobby but it was nice to have her there.

Now that the TOR season is upon us I took a hard look tonight to see which shows I can try and convince my wife to let me attend. I’ve also got to coordinate with Chris Jensen and the patch bus to see where I can hitch a ride. I’m hoping my next show is Central OH in October.

I came home from the TOR with more stuff than I brought. How does that happen? Well I guess it goes to prove that many people view shows as a great buying opportunity versus strictly selling stuff.

I am about to flip the switch and let my Jamboree auctions turn into fixed price listings in my store. I’ve got tons of work to do in September on consignment sales and I’ll need those 1000 “free eBay auctions” for those patches. So this is the last week I’ll be tooting the horn for those Jamboree auctions as I’ve now got only 277 alive and kicking.
