Tuesday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter August 04, 2020
My project to build an eBay super store is well under way. Taking advantage of the new pricing structure for insertion fees I am combining all 4 of my accounts into one.
So far this week I’ve closed the stores on my OApatch and ScoutPatchHQ eBay accounts. Those items have now been added to my main Patchblanket.com store for Santeeswapper. Once my final auctions finish running on Patchsniper I’ll move those over too.
Right now I’m sitting at over 19k items in my store. Once I move over Patchsniper and roll my Shopify inventory over that should push me over 30k items. That gives me plenty of room to grow. I’ve also added a shipping discount on Patchblanket.com where you can get free shipping with a minimum purchase.
As I wind down my Patchsniper account there are 126 auctions ending this week. I’ve done really well with this group mostly from lodges in the Pacific Northwest. By this time next week that store will close and I’ll have those items posted to Patchblanket.com.
As of now I’m signed up to attend the SR5 Conclave at the end of August. I have every hope that it will be held and I’ll get to put on a tan shirt for anything other than a Zoom board of review. Oh and I might get to trade a patch!

I started collecting Boy Scout memorabilia when I was inducted into Santee Lodge 116, Order of the Arrow at Camp Coker in the summer of 1986. All the guys of ISWA chapter in Elk campsite seemed to be trading and since my dad sent me to camp with a small bag of patches, I jumped in and never looked back....
