Occoneechee Lodge 104 70th Anniversary

This Year Commemerates 104’s 70th Anniversary.
To Date They Have Produced 16 Patches And Aren’t Finished Yet Either With The Calender Year.

They Introduced A New Arrowhead Shaped Patch, A Metal Flap, A New Jacket Patch (j19), An Obv Set For The 70th Anniversary, Activity Patches For Their Events, A Vigil Rededication Patch, And Three Host Type Patches For The Conclave, A Host Flap, A Conclave Flap That Had A Variation (2), And A Work Day Flap.

I must say that is a lot of cloth being introduced in a year.

The activity patches are similar in design to the Skyuka set that was done a year or two ago and are absolutely beautiful.

The metal flap just goes along with the newest fad that lodges are producing.

And many lodges are producing a bevy of cloth for anniversaries anymore as well.

If you collect this lodge or know some one who does get them to drop me an email looking to acquire some of this cloth for my own collection.

I could have bought a Metal Flap from this lodge for 30 bucks from someone. Is it worth that?
And is it a regular issue because I didn’t see it on oaimages but knowing me I may have overlooked it.

One thing you need to understand Chase is that just because it shows up on OA Images doesn’t make it an official issue, as far as it being a flap that is. National policy now prohibits any material except cloth for a flap. John’s site is for sharing images of OA and lodge items. Where applicable for flaps he shows the Blue Book designation or speculates what it might have been.

Doesn’t make it any less collectible though. Most lodges have all kinds of unusual items made from all kinds of materials. They are all collectible. I’ve got my fair share of them in my collections.

Ok. Thanks for clearing that up. It was a very cool patch (or oversized pin i should say) he let me hold it.
Any idea what its worth?

Not my area of interest, but somebody else might have an idea what it is worth. I’m sure alot will depends on how many were made and how tough it was to get ahold of. Good luck though.
