Tuesday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter September 17, 2019
This weekend I’m attending a training event for perhaps the most unlikely of positions – troop committee. I believe in the method and if I’m going to serve in that capacity in my daughter’s troop I feel I should be trained to position. So Saturday morning I’ll be a 2-hour class for getting that knocked out locally here in my council.

I started collecting Boy Scout memorabilia when I was inducted into Santee Lodge 116, Order of the Arrow at Camp Coker in the summer of 1986. All the guys of ISWA chapter in Elk campsite seemed to be trading and since my dad sent me to camp with a small bag of patches, I jumped in and never looked back....
