Tuesday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter September 6, 2016

I’m going to try something today that might seem a little silly. Over on the Facebook Group I’m going to post pictures of scout t-shirts for sale practically for free (just shipping). My wife is on the warpath on the amount of Rubbermaid totes so I’m going to see if I can “free-cycle” some shirts back to people who would appreciate them. You can find all this at the Scout Patch Collectors Facebook Group (probably after lunch).

Occoneechee Lodge 104 issued some neat TOR pieces for their August show and a set of that is up for bids below. I talked to the author of their memorabilia book Greg Grimes on the phone yesterday to get some tips as I begin rewriting the guide for my home lodge Santee 116.

A collection I purchased recently has right at 1,000 unique council and district activity patches. My mission this week is to get all those listed! I’ve already got them scanned in – now I just have to build the listings. When the projects done and I press the launch button I’ll share a link.

This week I’ve started a new consignment which includes some preWWII camp patches from North Carolina. You can see my live auctions and see what I’ve got. I’m also running some old football usher patches and Explorer conferences.
