Thought I would shed some light of what has become a great profit maker for sellers……since some collectors don’t take the time to research what they are bidding on.
Their is an Arrowhead Pin with a Red Triangle on it that is Enameled and is an Old Pin…however…It is not OA but
Y. M. C. A. !!
Here is an auction where some collector not doing his home work made a seller happy:)
Just thought I would warn collectors of this oddball item that is getting plenty of auction play currently.
I Cant Believe That After Numerous Posting On Different Blogs And Even On Trader Rings Etc. These Pins Continue To Pop Up And Still Get Seious Bids As A RARE Item Which They Obviously Aren’t!!!!!! ESP. SINCE THERE ARE AT LEAST 4 ON THE AUCTION SITE ON ANY GIVEN WEEK.
this is from Roy Moore’s blog on TSPA site
Every time this pops up on eBay we get asked if this is an OA pin. No. This is not an OA pin. It is not a Vigil pin. It is a YMCA pin. And, they are extremely common (and this picture, from a current listing, is upside down as to how the pin was worn.)
