Boy Scout CSP / Half Strips All Have One Thing In Common

This blog post takes a look back at some of the better selling auctions from the last week for collectors of shoulder insignia.  It just so happens that three of these are for Fort Eustis.  Never heard of it you say?  Well have you heard of Langley?  Here is what I get from Wikipedia:  The facility is an amalgamation of the United States Air Force Langley Air Force Base and the United States Army Fort Eustis which were merged on 1 October 2010.  A 9000 acre training facility, Fort Eustis is the home of the U.S. Army Transportation Corps.  So these auctions are neat because they show from one area what the old Scout and Cub Scout versions of the community strips were.  Military bases are a subset of community strips that are highly collectible so you see these go for good money as they did below.
