Some classic pieces in this lead off block. An Eisner Jacket to start off with and it just keeps going from there. This weekend I hope to score a few needs for my insignia and merit badge collection.

I think those red sashes produced by the lodges in North Carolina still have some legs. It’s pretty rare to see a complete set because the face value on them would have been well over $100 back a year ago. The nice Santee round below was issued when I first got in the lodge in 1986 and cost $6 when you stepped up to the lodge store. I imagine this one will go for at least $50 at auction.

Does this ever happen to you? When I’m leaving to go out of town for a trade-o-ree something happens at home to drive my wife nuts. So as I’m preparing to leave Thursday our dogs got loose from the back yard and disappeared. As I’m trying to pack I drove the neighborhood three times and talked to several neighbors. So as she is dropping me off at the rendezvous I broke the news that the dogs were missing and I was leaving her to sort it out. Ugh! But this morning I can report they have been returned.

All the auctions listed here are live on eBay and are a really varied group that I’ve got from different collections. Some of them are ending this weekend and are getting good bids.
