Tuesday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter October 24, 2017

The warehouse project has gone really well but sadly I will not cross the finish line before my big trip today. The last part is building a thin set of free standing shelves to go down the middle of the unit and we got about 1/2 through with that today before quitting time. Oh well it will be waiting on me when I get home later this week.

While I’m gone I’ll be missing my first big responsibility as Camp Director next summer. The council is having the camp promotion kick-off dinner Wednesday night. I did film a short welcome video so I won’t be totally absent from the event. Luckily the Camping Committee Chairman along with some of the staff will be there to carry the torch.

I will be sure to take some pictures of the collection that I’m going to look at. It’s quite an adventure to make this big trip solo and I’ve considered making a fun travel video just to document the whole experience.

To close out the month I have lowered the price on over 100 auctions and run them for another go in order to get them sold.
