I mentioned spending the weekend cutting up trees thanks to damage at my house from Hurricane Matthew. I thought I’d share a picture of this cypress that was laying on my back fence to give you an idea of what I was up against. We lost 5 of these along the back yard and a very large pear tree in the front. My blisters have started to heal and hopefully mother nature will be kind to the Carolinas this winter.

Whenever I see that horsehair patch from Lodge 104 I’m reminded how unusual this modern era of collecting can be. I got a glass flap in the mail this week from Virginia from a Scouter and there were actually adhesives in the box so that you could attempt to wear it. We’ve had chocolate flaps so why would a glass flap freak me out?

The Explorer Silver Award below is a little dirty but it’s selling at quite a discount over what some others are asking for their examples. I don’t know if the price will hold up when the final bids are in but we will see.

For those of use with eBay stores (and free listings!) it’s time to evaluate how to take advantage of where you are at the end of the month. I still have 274 “free” auctions remaining and if I plan it out just right I can use them up. I hate leaving free offers on the table when eBay makes so much money off me every month. I’ve got auctions ending tonight including some of these listed below.
