What Was This Person Thinking?

So this is just a weird auction. When I saw it on eBay my first thought was why is this old 1930’s shirt sitting at $24.99 with just one bid. Surely, it hasn’t flown that low under the radar. But then when I clicked over and took a closer look I see why the bidding hasn’t materialized. Rather than spoiling the fun I’ll let you click over and see what I’m talking about.

Everything about this shirt looks authentic except for the 1937 which is clearly a repro. Did many people sew on these repros? I’ve never seen that before but maybe its more commonplace then I know.

At least they sewed the Jamboree patch in the correct place for the time period. Makes me think that maybe someone removed an original 37 NJ patch and replaced it with the repro.

Maybe the real one got eaten up by moths which sometimes did happen to those? Who knows….
