19th South Carolina TOR

This is a GREAT TOR hosted by Chris Jensen of Streamwood. Click here for the TOR flyer. I’ve attended every one of his TORs for years and I know many of the southern boys on Patchblanket will be there.

Your Trade-O-Ree has moved back to the Easley South Carolina National Guard Armory! Now that our local guard is back from serving our country in war, we can again go back to our favorite TOR location that we have learned to love!

The Easley Comfort Inn is located just a short jaunt away and has given us some special rates. Just ask for the great Boy Scout Trade-O-Ree rates of $69.99 per night (SINGLE OR DOUBLE). This rate even includes FREE Hot Country Breakfasts for all of those in the room.

DON’T FORGET THE FRIDAY NIGHT FREE PIZZA PARTY FOR EVERY PRE-REGISTERED ATTENDEE!
Immediately after everyone has eaten the free pizza, our famous 1000+ Silent auctions will begin. These silent auctions have become a big part of our TOR’s. We will be auctioning until late Friday night, and then begin again with more neat stuff on Saturday morning. So, please join us to see some old friends, and do some trading – buying – selling.

Hey this is the week end I travel to South Carolina for another great TOR. Since a majority of the Traders reading this thread are from that area I hope to see and meet many of you there. Two great TOR’s in a row. What am I going to do the next week end?????? Indianapolis is cold and snowy, not for me.

BigJim you won’t be the only Patchblanket member that is going to make both the Dallas TOR and the SC TOR. I know that Jeff Cook, Jason Shull, and Darrin Thomas to name a few will be there and all three were in Dallas also. Personally, I will be arriving on Thursday so that I can beat the rush and be set up and ready to go. How about a roll call….who else is going this weekend?

PS
I am a Rank and Position Collector for Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Explorers. So DON’T leave those patches at home saying no one will look at them. I still have holes in my colletion to fill, especialy for issues prior to 1923.

Well I am on my way back from the South Carolina Trade-O-Ree. Chris Jensen realy puts on a great TOR. It was great to talk to a lot of the PatchBlanket Folk. I was able to fill a few small holes, no Big ones. There was great fellowship and I learned many new things about my collection. I am looking forward to my next TOR.
