Sunday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter November 20, 2016

The Brooklyn uniform pictured below has a patch on it that the seller states is a pre OA item. For many councils that puts it in the 1930s which is to say something worth taking a look at for sure.

The OA in today’s issue is especially good. I think the sellers were looking at the calendar and figuring after next week people might start focusing on holiday gifts instead.

I have said this before but some people underestimate how difficult it is to collect your local camps t-shirts. I’ve got the old Camp Powhatan one listed below on my watch list. I have three huge Rubbermaid totes that hold my tshirt collection which makes it among the most despised items I hold on to by my wife.

I have some really old North Carolina camp patches and lots of Jamboree sets on consignment that are ending tonight at auction. The bidders have been holding off until the last few seconds recently in my quality auctions and I figure that will continue tonight.
