Tuesday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter November 1, 2016
There are a couple of nice Eagle medals and merit badge sashes in today’s issue. The letter below is signed by B-P but to me it looks a little bit like the canned signature versus an authentic one. I could be wrong!
I really like the 179 felt listed below and it’s gotten the notice of bidders who have run it up over $200+. Another favorite of mine in this block is the old 6A conclave.
I assume that that 1973 staff piece is one of those Angus McBride trading post pieces but I don’t know that for sure. People still talk about that huge auction which was kinda of a once in a decade type event for the hobby.
So far nobody has bid on my jamboree contingent patch from “jina”. 🙂 For the month of October I wasn’t able to use all 1,000 of the “free” auctions that eBay gives me but I came pretty darn close. Hopefully this month I can take advantage but right now I’ve got 200+ live auctions in the Boy Scout category.

I started collecting Boy Scout memorabilia when I was inducted into Santee Lodge 116, Order of the Arrow at Camp Coker in the summer of 1986. All the guys of ISWA chapter in Elk campsite seemed to be trading and since my dad sent me to camp with a small bag of patches, I jumped in and never looked back....
