Tuesday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter October 18, 2016

I hope one of the things that readers enjoy about the Hot Finds is that I try and pick a very eclectic mix of auctions to feature every issue. So I like to mix in some International pieces that are probably not on your eBay watch list.

I came home from the Columbus TOR with a notebook full of flaps from the 1980s-90s. Rather than strip them out and put them up on eBay I’ve decided to just scan them and call them $5 each (with free shipping). You can click the image link and see all the flaps which number a little over 100 issues. If you see one you want to grab just send me an email and I’ll pull it for you.

Last weekend I purchased a 2017 planner (yes I still like to write down dates even with an iPhone) and the first thing I marked was the Jamboree. However, next summer I have two Jamborees to attend. I’ll be at the Summit for the Girl Scout Jamboree on June 28- July 2 and then again later in June for the National Jamboree.

I’ve had some good success selling off a box of really old event patches that I’ve had for some time. You can see some of them linked in here and if you want to catch the auctions ending soon click this link Patchblanket.com.
