Friday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter December 30, 2016

I want to say there was an ISCA article at some point that told the story of the Golden Gate Exposition. It was happening during the same time frame as the New York Worlds Fair in 1939 and people are more familiar with the memorabilia issued for the Boy Scouts that attended. The neckerchief below is doing pretty well with bidding over $100.

There are endless opportunities on eBay to try and flip lots. Normally that strategy involves patches but below here is a listing with OA flap pins selling for about $1 each. Surely there has to be a market for those pins for $3-$4 at a TOR?

The Sea Scout jumper below includes the coveted blue and white community strip. This is one of those where you hate to see the uniform stripped of a patch but that could very well happen here.

Today I’ve featured many of the Jamboree sets that are available in my eBay store at www.Patchblanket.com. The 2017 Jamboree sets are coming out and some of them are works of art. Gone are the days of just having a single JSP to sew on your uniform shirt.
