Friday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter December 5, 2014

I am taking my Girl Scout troop camping this weekend….to a Boy Scout camp. See what happens when you put an Eagle Scout in charge of the girls? We are headed out this afternoon to Camp Coker which is my home camp for two nights. I hope you have some fun plans this weekend also.

After I hit the publish button I have to respond to a voice mail from an antique mall. I’ve been trying to double down on my strategy of having a booth and it looks like my name might finally be coming off the waiting list at my first choice for a second location.

I talked about having an antique mall booth in Episode 68 of my podcast Scouting Hot Finds Radio. This mall is about an hours drive from my house in Florence, SC. I’ve got a ton of stuff local to that area so I can’t wait to stuff the booth with goodies including lots of uniforms and equipment.

I do keep the website SanteeswapperStore.com running to feature the items you can find in my current antique mall location. This one sits right on Interstate 95 in North Carolina. If you are making any trips up and down the the east coast I hope you’ll consider stopping at Somewhere In Time Antiques.

November was a stand out month for me on my off-eBay store at ScoutPatchHQ.com. I’m waiting to see if December is going to be good headed into the holidays.

Brad England and I have not been able to connect this week to record another episode of Thread Heads. Hopefully we will be back on the air next week with Episode 4. You can always go back and watch the prior shows at ScoutPatchCollectors.com.
