Huh? Check Out This Quirky Scout Stuff That Did Well!

I spotted two of these three things in the Hot Finds and found the third while looking through closed listings. I included them together in this post because I thought they were among the most unusual things I’ve seen sold recently that went for big bucks. The bidding for the Disney poster was really just between two Scouters. The winning bidder staked out a high mark and the 2nd place bidder banged away five times in increments of $50 and then $100 before giving up. The jacket was a buy-it-now. The bat was unusual in that the winning bidder had a feedback of 1. You just don’t see that very often. Add to that the fact that this winning bidder added an insurance high bid on the last day and that gets me scratching my head a little.
