Sunday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter December 25, 2016

This morning I got to put my Eagle Scout skills to use. My mother-in-law tripped bringing in stuff from the car and badly scraped her wrist. While she and another member of the family were about to pass out I took a page out of first aid merit badge and cleaned and dressed the wound. We might go to Urgent Care in the morning just to let them look at it but to hear your mother-in-law give you a compliment is a rare feat.

I am like plenty of other OA collectors in needing a White Fang to fill a hole in my collection. Right now I’m over leveraged buying collections so I can’t bid on the one up for auction but somebody is going to take home a nice one.

This issue will be one of the last ones of the year so the fact that I’ve got a 2017 Jamboree set included tells you what we are in store for next year. The sets that councils are producing are works of art – I just don’t know how anybody can afford to buy extras to trade.

My eBay store at www.Patchblanket.com is always open even if I’ve got company over for the holidays. My eBay app has not been ringing very much this week so hopefully when I crank things back up next week that will change.
