Sunday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter December 7, 2014

SHF_dec_7

I took this picture Saturday morning during the Girl Scout camping trip that I went on this weekend. The girl in the pink hat is my daughter and her brother is the tag-a-long in the blue jacket. We had a great trip going back to my old stomping grounds. We did several things I had not done in more than twenty years up at camp and made lots of memories.

I have started to organize my merit badge collection and none too soon. There are some really good picks in this edition of the Hot Finds including a couple of nice oldies in this block.

I don’t know if it’s the wide crimped merit badges or the old felts that are making those Brooklyn merit badge sashes stand out.

The big old triangle in the listing on the right is a pretty sash. I have never tried to collect OA sashes but I’m sure that one is on some people’s watch lists.

I’ve got lots of activity patches listed over on ScoutPatchHQ.com including the ones listed below as a preview.

I will be publishing a new video early this week and hopefully having some more projects nearing completion. I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend while I recover from my trip with the Scouts.
