Tuesday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter December 16, 2014

SHF_dec_16

I posted a video last night with some scenes from the recent Old Hickory TOR. I’ve got it linked in below for you to see. I hope you enjoy today’s issue of the Hot Finds.

I almost bid on a nice MB sash yesterday that was in the Hot Finds this weekend. This one was from the 1930s and had some nice Senior Scout titles and MBs. I sat down with Ron Oslin and Joe Klos at the TOR this past weekend and started getting educated on Merit Badges.

As if folks didn’t already know it really does work when you post in the Scout Patch Collectors Facebook group. I posted yesterday that I wanted something from Santa and had two offers within an hour to sell me the item. Now I didn’t say you would get your Christmas wish but if you are looking for leads try it out!

I guess if you have some Boy Scout Christmas pieces now is the time to sell them. My family is a little slow putting out the decorations so this could make a good gift for a Scouter. I think I’d rather have the Taxidermy MB if I was shopping for myself.

I am working on another sales catalog and I should have it ready by the end of the week. I’m trying to publish one every month and this one will feature camp patches. You can find these and thousands of more items on my webstore at ScoutPatchHQ.com.

If all goes well I’ll be driving down this week to check out a new antique mall booth location. We will see how this turns out but I’m excited for the possibility.
