Tuesday Scouting Hot Finds Newsletter December 20, 2016

Someone sent me a message earlier today asking if I was going to start collecting camp patches from the council that I have just moved into it. The thing about starting a new collection is there are so many old collections that have lots of wholes including all of these combination ranks ending soon that I don’t have!

One of the most agonizing parts of being on “patch lock-down” is that I just got in 5 priority mail boxes of which I have little idea what is in them. An older Scouter sent me these on preview and I can’t open them and get started on that until after the family leaves. I feel like a kid with presents under the tree that I can’t open til my mother tells me it’s ok.

I’m considering consolidating my antique mall booths to a new location in Charlotte in early 2017. Ideally before the Charlotte TOR at the end of March I’d like to have everything up here. Right now having 2 booths that are 2+ hours drive away from me doesn’t sound too smart.

While I’m not starting new auctions during the holidays I do have some auctions that are finishing over the next few days on eBay. Many of these are neckerchiefs and a nice group of a 2-dozen listings from Occoneechee Council.
